Ronda Monroe, M.S., NCC, CCTP
I am currently seeing adult clients (18+) for individual, couple, and family therapy with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, and grief in the state of Georgia.
I specialize in relational trauma, parental hurt (mother/father wound), family dynamics, and attachment issues; working with clients who wish to navigate the complexities of difficult childhood experiences and dysfunctional family relationships. I also facilitate a Parental Hurt support group twice a year, offering a safe space for connection and healing. Additionally, as an Employee Assistance Program counselor, I help professionals who are experiencing burnout, stress, and career transitions in the corporate setting.
To acknowledge each client's individuality and specific needs, I pull from various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT), Narrative therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy. Also, as a trauma-informed yoga instructor, I incorporate a somatic approach that emphasizes the mind-body connection through body awareness and mindfulness. For couple clients, I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy to help you and your partner break out of communication traps, foster emotional safety, and develop practical tools to manage the ebbs and flows of connection.
As your therapist, I hope to walk alongside you to encourage you, hold space for you, challenge you (we all need gentle accountability!), and equip you with the tools and self-awareness you need to create meaningful life changes.
